This week has seen a noticable change in the night time temperature. With light wind speed and bright skys, we
should see our first frost by the end of the week. Autumn colour at the Arbouretums should be at their best over the next two weeks. Batsford Arbouretum, Moreton in the Marsh is well worth a visit. This week also see's the arrival of our first delivery of ornamental trees. We've been very busy over the last few months building a new tree storage area in the Nursery. This will keep the trees in excellent condition, and allow us to carry a much greater range.Time for planting trees is now here! It's ideal if you can get the trees in before Christmas before the soil gets colder, but this is no hard rule. You can comfortably plant trees any time during the dormant period (Oct-March), but from experience the ones planted earlier get established quicker. So come along and choose them now!
